Twas Halloween when we arrived in Sisal an' me men was eager ta do some trick 'r treatin' wit the locals.

I had me a formidable force 'o men, three fine ships, one 'o which was me Danish Galleon, an' four score 'o cannons an' a ton 'o muskets at me disposal.  And after findin' a good anchorage not far from the town, I land thirty cutlass-wielding bastids ashore 'n sends 'em in with strict orders ta refrain from causing too much damage.  After all, this 'ere purdy lil' town would be flyin' da black flag 'o piracy before the end 'o tha day and we didnae want ta be spendin' the next week or so repairing all the lil' townhouses.
So to cheer me men up a little, I did authorise 'em ta kill any dirty-rotten redcoats 'n gentry ponces they 'appened ta find.

Well, as ye can imagine, the yella Gov'nor 'o the town weren't in a fightin' mood once he saw me Galleon docked in cannon range 'o his nice posh house.  And on witnessing tha brutality me murderous buggers meted out to the eagerly surrendering townsfolk, he soon sent word to me officers ashore dat he'll gladly surrender his town if'n we spared his countrymen more bloodshed.

We duly obliged, an' after the briefest 'o skirmishes, we'd gutted several peasants, slaughter tha small garrison 'o Spanish soldiers, burned a barn, 'n captured the whole darn place 'afore noon.

That night, I installed one 'o me officers as the new Governor 'o Sisal, 'n then joined me victorious swines in a night 'o drinkin' 'n whorin' wit all tha fair maidens we'd took prisoner.  Twas one hell 'o a Halloween party I can tell ye!

Early next morning I visits me Gov'nor mate, who kindly gives me an ol' treasure map he found in tha house.  Mighty kind 'o him too, me thinks.
Anyhow, after explainin' me intentions, we bids farewell to him, 'n ups anchor.  Sailing wit a good breeze behind us, we sets a course fer our first port 'o call in the Gulf 'o Mexico...  Campeche!
